These pictures were sent to me by the breeder Sharon. They were taken in August of 1967.

Thor was the first Shepherd his breeder Sharon ever whelped He had one Black and Tan brother.

Thor was obviously a beloved part of the family as he poses patiently with this little boy. His owner said he was a great dog and loved by all.

Thor sired two litters, producing three blues total. The breeder kept one of his blue sons, named Vol. She has promised me she will try to find some pictures of Vol for this site. Sadly Thor was shot in the breeders yard by a drunken neighbor when he was only 4.5 years old. Sharon and her family loved Vol as well, but according to her he never replaced Thor in their hearts.
