Renegade was my first Blue GSD. He was whelped on Feb. 13th ,1999

Renegade was what a GSD should be in temperament and intelligence. Full of personality and my constant companion and guardian. Sadly, he and my other two Blues, Gypsy and Rebel, all died of an accidental ingestion of poison  on December 8th, 2001

Although I loved all of my dogs, Renegade was by far the closest to my heart, and it is there that he shall remain for all of eternity.

The loss of my dogs was so devastating that I abandoned this site and could not even think of owning another dog. Almost 6 long years has passed, I finally found the courage to return to my dreams and finally rebuild this site. I hope to own another Blue again within the next year. Until then the memories of my past beloved furkids shall keep me company.

Renegade at 9 and 9.5 weeks old. As a young puppy his eyes were a startling blue-green in color. All Blue colored GSD's retain the blue eye color well past that of traditionally colored GSD pups. This eye color can remain in effect through 10 weeks of age.
We have ignition!! At 11.5 weeks Renegade has one ear up. His eyes and coat continue to change color almost from week to week through his first 6 months.
Wow! Look at me mom!! At 12 weeks Renegade's ears have both finally come up.  His eyes are now a light brown-green in color. In this picture his light grey-blue nose leather pigment is evident.
13 weeks. You can clearly see how blue his coat color actually is at this age. Renegade was a Powder Blue. The lighter of the two blue color variations.
13.5 weeks of age. His eye color is taking on a more yellowish appearance. Steel and Powder Blues alike may have varying eye colors as adults. From a light to a Coffee Brown, Hazel, Yellow, etc.
