More Blue Pictures

As promised I continue to document the growth and coat color changes of my two Blue German Shepherds. Renegade is my male and was whelped on Feburary 13, 1999. Gypsy is my female and was whelped June 13, 1999. More pictures are waiting to be developed and scanned so check back again soon for more shots and information.

Gypsy on September 30, 1999 Her coat looks rough because she played in the mud before coming in the house. Both ears are finally up and straight.

This picture taken on the same day as all of the pictures on this page, 9/30/99. All were taken with a digital camera and the ones of Renegade came out grainy and dark due to the way I was standing in porportion to the light source in the room. Now I know how to prevent that. <S>

This picture was very well lit and accurately depicts the silvery grey that Gypsy was at this time. A Blue pups coat goes through many changes while they mature. During the period between 10 to 18 weeks the coat seems to change every few days. After that week to week. It's fascinating to watch. I call this particular color "Powder Blue".

Unfortunately both shots of Renegade came out dark and grainy. :^(
